Armstrong Expands Vertical-In-Line Fire Pump Series

Armstrong Fluid Technology has introduced a new addition to its Constant Speed Vertical-In-Line Fire Pumps, now offering a maximum flow of 500 USGPM for both 60Hz and 50Hz markets. The latest model features high-pressure ratings of up to 160 PSI, making it a powerful and efficient choice for fire protection systems.

The Armstrong Vertical-In-Line Fire Pumps are designed to eliminate the need for offset piping and motor realignment, making installation easier. They also occupy less floor space compared to horizontal split-case pumps. The new model includes a smaller motor for the same duty point, a reduced environmental footprint compared to diesel pumps, and carries UL/ULC and FM approvals.

“Armstrong is one of only four manufacturers who can offer a VIL fire pump reaching 160 PSI at 500 USGPM,” said Michael DeMille, Global Offering Manager for Fire Pumps at Armstrong Fluid Technology. “This new model is an excellent addition to our existing vertical-in-line pump series.”
