Atlas Copco Group has strengthened its position in filtration solutions with the acquisition of Masterfilter NV, a Belgium-based company specializing in liquid and gas filtration.

Expanding Presence in Western Europe

Masterfilter, headquartered in Tessenderlo, Belgium, provides advanced filtration solutions tailored to the food and beverage and chemical industries. The acquisition aligns with Atlas Copco’s strategic growth in Western Europe, enhancing its product portfolio and regional footprint.

“This acquisition will expand our presence in Belgium and increase our product offering to the food and beverage and chemical industries in Western Europe,” said Philippe Ernens, President of the Compressor Technique Business Area.

Integration into Atlas Copco’s Medical Gas Solutions Division

With three employees, Masterfilter will become part of Atlas Copco’s Medical Gas Solutions division, operating under the Compressor Technique Business Area. The financial details of the transaction remain undisclosed, but Masterfilter reported revenues of €2.6 million (30 MSEK) in 2024.
